A Ricoh automatic with an electric-blue sunburst dial, applied multi-faceted gold-tone hour studs and a dual day and date window at 3 o'clock. The cushion-shaped case with heavy shoulders carries a 1970s retro look, and the integrated multi-link steel bracelet closes with a folding deployment clasp.
The Story: Ricoh is best known for cameras and copiers, but it also built watches with its own automatic movements. This one runs on the Ricoh R31 automatic, 21 jewels, with a quick-set day and date, under an electric-blue sunburst dial with faceted gold-tone studs. The heavy-shouldered cushion case and integrated bracelet have a strong 1970s retro look.
Collector's Clue: The lume dots no longer glow: a natural sign of its age, left exactly as it is.
