A ladies' Universal Geneve in a gold-tone cushion-shaped case, with a champagne sunburst dial, slim black baton markers and the Universal Geneve name and "Quartz" on the dial, on a black crocodile-pattern leather strap. Swiss made.

The Story: Universal Geneve is a name collectors know for its Compax and Tri-Compax chronographs and the Polerouter. When the quartz crisis hit, the Geneva house turned to slim battery-powered dress watches to carry its style forward. This ladies' quartz carries the signature on a champagne sunburst dial with slim black batons, in a gold-tone cushion case on a black crocodile-pattern strap.
